Description: This antenna is an extraordinary cage antenne.
Usually at least two mast are taken to obtain a directional pattern. In this case although having only one mast the cage around the cage is used to obtain a directional pattern.
Besides the directional pattern for the night an omnidriectional antenna for the day is radiated form this antenna.
In addition the mast is grounded in order to fix and operate diverse antennas for directional and mobile services easily.
The antenna design was proposed by Dr. Tippe: a cage of six ropes, one of them and five of them are fed seperately. Actually we have two radiators with a short spacing. But the right amplitudes and phases of these two radiators deliver a directional pattern with 12 dB less field strength related to the maximum as wanted.
